"I have been working with Lucy for two years - she has supported me during two maternity leaves, both my returns to work, a job change and a promotion into the senior leadership team. She is warm, open and has an extensive knowledge. As a working mum, coaching is an important part of my toolkit. It has made me stronger, more confident and grounds me in the belief that I can be the mother I want to be, have a fulfilling career AND be able to take care of my wellbeing. I would highly recommend her and have done to friends."
Amy, education, London
"Lucy has coached me for six months on my career transition after becoming a mum - she unpicked the underlying issue, helping me to reconnect with my values and get back to myself. Her main strength is her nurturing and all-accepting nature - weirdly I always feel she just 'gets me'. I have recently made probably the most authentic and courageous decision of my entire career - it felt amazing! I would recommend Lucy to women who are at a crossroads and want to reconnect with their true selves to lead a more authentic and happier life."
Kristina, banking, London
"I wasn't sure if coaching would be for me but I was looking for a greater sense of focus, purpose and sense of self after many years looking after my children. After six sessions with Lucy, I have definitely achieved this and more. She is empathetic, a great listener, generous with her time, puts me at ease and is entirely present. I can’t remember the last time someone was so genuinely engaged in talking about me! If you are considering working with a personal coach, I would highly recommend Lucy."

I spent ten years in corporate communications supporting C-Suite executive and senior leadership teams, both in-house and agency-side, working for brands like ITV, Nestlé and London Underground.
Although I ‘achieved’ by society’s standards, I never felt good enough, and suffered from imposter syndrome, anxiety and burnout.
After becoming a parent in 2010, I looked after my children and then worked part-time in my husband’s recruitment business before retraining in transformational coaching in 2018.
I saw parenthood as an opportunity to pause and reset the trajectory of my life, and so I found the courage to embark on three years of therapy and coaching. I was hooked on the power of coaching and when it came to making a decision around ‘going back to work’, I instantly knew it would play to my strengths and would fit in around my family’s needs.
I feel so fortunate to have found a job that feels like self care. I love supporting my clients to do the work I did (and am still doing) and admire anyone who finds the courage to do this. It’s not easy to do this on your own – but with the right coach, who you trust and feel safe with, it feels like a gift.
I have my own private 1:1 coaching practice and am also proud to be part of the corporate coaching teams at Better Up and Mettacool, running 1:1 and group coaching programmes for high potential women, and expecting and working parents in EMEA and the US.
I am fully insured, have regular supervision and adhere to the ICF’s code of ethics and core competencies.
Drawing on the knowledge I have gained in my Motherhood Studies Certification, my coaching skills and my own life experience, I am driven to do all I can to empower women to achieve their personal and professional potential when they feel stuck or overwhelmed.
What drew you to coaching?
“In giving birth to our babies we might find that we give birth to new possibilities within ourselves”
– Myla & Jon Kabat Zinn
I believe society sets women up to fail. It tells us we can have a fulfilling career AND be the perfect mother – but it doesn’t support us to achieve this.
We blame ourselves – we feel guilty for falling short of society’s version of success. We try harder and harder to achieve a work-life balance, looking outside ourselves (to experts, friends, social media…) to find the right solutions to every problem.
It doesn’t have to be this way. If we understand the social context we are mothering in, we can relieve the anxiety, the fear of dropping a ball, the constant feeling of being pushed and pulled, and live life according to our own expectations.
I provide an empathetic, safe and non-judgmental space for you to pause and work out who you really are, what you stand for and what you want. Once you know this, we will create mindsets and behaviours that are in alignment with your authentic self. We will identify what’s holding you back and overcome these obstacles together – whether they are practical, emotional or mental.
By the end of our time together, you will feel calmer, clearer and more confident. You will understand your unique formula for happiness in your life and career, you will have a plan to achieve it and I will support you every step of the way.
