A Day* in the Life of a Working Mum…

Sound familiar?

  • 6:00 AM – Alarm goes off, you hit snooze.
  • 6:10 AM – Drag yourself out of bed, dodging toys, laundry and a never-ending to-do list.
  • 6:45 AM – Make multiple breakfast orders; half go uneaten.
  • 7:00 AM – Juggle listening to one child read while the other asks screams for help with a last-minute school project.
  • 7:20 AM – Checking emails, remember to finish that presentation, and prepare for a last-minute team meeting.
  • 7:45 AM – Remember you need to book Tesco’s for the in-law visit, and have your finger on the buzzer 10am ON THE DOT when after school clubs go live.
  • 8:00 AM – Request the kids put their shoes on… (your volume increasing with each repeat).
  • 8:30 AM – Leave the house, youngest steps in dog poo, ‘you’ forget their water bottle…. Make it by the skin of your teeth though the rest of the class are in PE kit (should have checked the 37 what’s app messages!)
  • 8.50 AM – Make it to the luxury of the packed commuter train realising you forgot deodorant, can see your bra through your top and the timer wash you felt smug sorting last night will rot all day. Great

*The morning alone was exhausting enough, though we didn’t need to relive the full day

Does This Resonate?

We’ve been led to believe that we need to ‘have it all.’

Top Tip 1: Pause and reflect. Are you trying to ‘have it all’? If so, at what expense?  When I was living in this frantic way day in day out I was exhausted, snappy, felt like a failure and close to the edge.

Discover Another Way…

I found a different approach—leading a less frantic, happier, more balanced life by focusing on what matters most to me.

Top Tip 2: Flip the script. I invite you to flip the notion of ‘having it all’ to having YOUR all.

Top Tip 3: Start Now – extend yourself kindness. Download my free KFS Wheel of Life kit to support you in beginning to reflect on where you’re at right now and where you want to be.

If you’re keen to invest more in discovering and living YOUR all – great! Check out another couple of ways to partner with me.
