    Professional Background

With a career spanning education, the charitable sector, and various corporate industries, I have had the privilege of experiencing diverse organisational structures, work contexts, and cultures. Across all these environments, one constant remains: people are people, and the essence of human development is universal.

My career journey began as a therapist for children and adults with neurological conditions, where I developed a deep understanding of human development.

Transitioning into learning and development, I spent 15 years honing my skills in leadership development, supervision, communication, teamwork, and both personal and professional growth. This experience laid a solid foundation for my move into the corporate sector, where I helped businesses and leadership teams define their purpose & values & grow.

For the past decade, my focus has been on supporting and empowering parents in leadership roles to excel professionally while maintaining a deep sense of wellbeing.

Parenthood offers a unique opportunity to reevaluate our priorities and values. It allows us to wisely manage our energy and build resources aligned with what truly matters, safeguarding against burnout. This enables us to do the work we love, enjoy the process, and grow through the experience.

    What drew you to coaching?

Parenthood is filled with challenges and opportunities—we know this. But the experience also provides profound moments that foster the development of the person who happens to be a parent—this we sometimes forget.

I believe parenthood is an experience to harness, igniting and fuelling growth both professionally and personally.

However, this journey can often compromise our wellbeing and in this 21st century parental burnout is at an all-time high. Generational and societal narratives, particularly for mothers, are outdated and unattainable and need to be continually challenged. In a world of social media that can have us searching for answers in external experts we forget about the expert that sits within us!

I’m passionate about ensuring parents, regardless of their context, have the energy and resources they need to respond proactively to their environment rather than reacting to it. I also strive to support parents in the workplace, where cultures don’t always accommodate the unique experiences of working parents. I firmly believe that parents make incredible leaders, and I am dedicated to helping them flourish in these roles.

My coaching approach is curious, kind, and challenging. Companionship is a cornerstone of development work because, as human beings, we are hardwired for connection. We aren’t meant to grow alone, so walking side by side with you in your growth journey is essential.
