Testimonials

Coaching has given me more insight into some of my limiting beliefs and therefore started to release me from them. It has helped me to take action in small ways, reducing rumination and procrastination. Coaching has sped up some changes in multiple aspects of my life. I am still in a period of flux but I am now much more excited and hopeful about the possibilities I can create for the future. Katy is a great listener and it helped that she is a doctor and mum. She understands the toll of juggling all these demands.

    Coaching Qualifications

    • Transformational Coaching Diploma - Your Coaching Journey

    Professional Background

Before becoming a coach, my professional journey took several meaningful turns, each contributing to the work I do today with professional mothers. I initially trained as a linguist, studying French and Spanish, which deepened my love for communication and understanding diverse perspectives. After graduating, I spent a year working in the public sector before starting my medical degree at Cambridge University.

I am now an NHS doctor and GP registrar, where I have supported individuals through some of the most challenging moments of their lives. My experience in general practice has given me a unique ability to understand the pressures working mothers face and the complex interplay between physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

In addition to my medical career, I have qualifications as a baby sleep consultant and an antenatal educator, which reflect my passion for supporting families and providing holistic support to mothers navigating the transition into parenthood and beyond.

    What drew you to coaching?

My journey into coaching began after a life-changing experience. Following a traumatic birth, I developed severe sepsis and nearly lost my life. That experience shook me—it made me realise that I could have died feeling unfulfilled and unhappy in my career. I knew I needed a change. I sought coaching for myself, which helped me reflect on my values, rediscover my confidence, and make bold decisions. I shifted from hospital medicine to general practice, pursued creative projects like writing two children’s picture books, and built a life that felt meaningful and aligned.

That transformation is what drives my passion for coaching today. I understand how it feels to be stuck, overwhelmed, and unsure of the next step. My approach is non-directive, creating a safe, supportive space where my clients can explore their challenges, clarify what truly matters, and take practical steps forward.

What I love most about coaching is seeing my clients have their own breakthroughs—whether it’s letting go of mum guilt, regaining confidence, or creating a career path that fits their lives. For me, it’s not about offering quick fixes but about helping them reconnect with their strengths and trust that they can build the life they want. Knowing that I can guide them on that journey is incredibly rewarding.
