Careering into Motherhood began as a Facebook community, five years ago.
In 2023 we launched our coaching partnership to be able to support more women with access to coaching expertise. We are a female-founded start-up, supported by our Advisory Board.

Jane Johnson
Jane is the founder of Careering into Motherhood. In 2015, Jane was the first person at HSBC to negotiate a Global Director role as a job-share.
With the aim of helping more women to have access to similar career opportunities, in 2016 she launched a successful recruitment business, but was inundated with candidates so in 2019 she set up the Careering into Motherhood Facebook group.

Ade Onilude
Ade is the founder and chief executive officer of the social enterprise, Women in Marketing Community Interest Company (WIM CiC), established to educate, inspire, connect, recognise and empower female marketers, through the cycle of their lives. In 2004, she launched WIM’s first forum on International Women’s Day, and in 2010, she created the first WIM Awards. WIM represents the changing global landscape of marketing through the female lens.

Sarah Jackson OBE
She was the CEO of Working Families, a role which at times she job-shared, job-split and worked reduced hours, in order to retain time for her family life. Her experience at Working Families included the annual employer best practice awards, commissioning and editing research into flexible working, and lobbying government on behalf of working mothers and fathers.

Michael Mpofu
Michael began his career in South African politics, working for the official opposition and later in government as the spokesperson for the Premier of the Western Cape.
He has influenced policy and led behavioural change campaigns.
