"I had a coaching session with Nasima and I can say that she is a wonderful listener and adviser. She has a great ability to connect. She quickly understood my challenge and was extremely helpful in identifying my needs. Nasima helped me to believe in myself, increase my confidence and build my self-esteem. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to transform her life and see the 'light at the end of the tunnel'."

Client SR

"I just wanted to say that since our last meeting, I gained more confidence to speak up, especially at work. I found myself talking about lots of things and getting real satisfaction from it."

Client SA

"That session helped so much! Thank you. I've tried to let go of the paranoia and just be myself without worrying what others may be thinking - I feel a lot happier for it. I went to a social event a few days ago and was able to talk to people; one of them enjoyed chatting so much that we are meeting again. It felt so nice."

    Coaching Qualifications

    • Ilm Un Nafs (The Science of the Soul), Certificate of qualification available upon request

    Professional Background

I am an artist and began to explore the subject of women from Asian backgrounds, and the role of the housewife in Muslim communities. In particular, I wanted to explore the value that we place on housework. I made a short film on this topic and my tutor approached me about becoming a coach because my focus tended more towards helping women to feel more valued.

A lot of the time we talk about how society doesn’t value housework or housewives, and that society needs to change, but I came back to whether we value ourselves. I was exploring all of these topics as an artist and wanted to empower women.

As the project evolved, I spoke to women from all different cultures and communities, and I noticed the common thread was that paid work is always valued and unpaid work is not.

I was inclined to coaching so I could actually go out there and help more women to value themselves and the work they do, whatever that may be. I have struggled myself with this topic as a mother who homeschools her children, and I didn’t always feel that the people around me valued the unpaid work I was doing.

    What drew you to coaching?

I was frustrated with this whole notion that women weren’t valued – the focus was on society needing to change but I want to help women to value themselves.

I do masterclasses with groups of women where we talk through all kinds of situations to help women feel more empowered and a greater sense of self-worth.

I work with large groups of women online and I also work 1:1.

I do consultations where we will work through particular beliefs and realisations, and do a more intense workshop.

    Fee Structure

My fees range from £1,300 – £2,000 for a six month package but I always work with my clients and try to make it affordable.

Payment plans are available for longer-term clients and I tailor packages according to clients’ individual needs.
