Working mothers often feel stuck in an eternal juggle of being present at work while taking the greater share of cognitive labour, emotional labour and mental load of managing a family. This is resulting in the higher stress, anxiety and burnout among working mums. While there are deep rooted gender norms at play, there are small steps that both parents can make to create a more equal partnership.

This session will help to unpack the responsibilities mothers take on, and how this evolves as children grow older. We will look at how to proactively approach conversations about shared responsibilities before they’re assumed to be yours, and also what you will need to do to ‘let them go’.

This session will help build a more positive shared dynamic that ultimately will support you to feel more in control and present both at home, and at work.
