Testimonials

"Life coaching has empowered me to take control of my life, my thoughts and my emotions, enabling me to make positive changes to the way I think, feel and behave. It has been life changing. Before the sessions started, I felt alone, out of control and quite powerless to change it. I can't thank Suzy enough for helping me through this. She is a wonderful life coach."

Sophie, mum of two boys, overwhelmed with anxiety and constantly wracked with mum guilt, worrying she was not a good enough mum

"Suzy is a thoughtful and generous coach; she establishes boundaries quickly and gently nudges you to reveal and question your conventional norms. She manages to uncover character traits that you are unaware of to help understand behaviour patterns and to move forward."

Sarah wanted clarity on what she wanted to achieve in her life and how to get there

"Suzy has a very positive and warm communication style; she is very assertive and personable. I quickly felt comfortable enough to talk openly about anything. My original needs and more were met at the end of the sessions. I have now gained confidence in my abilities to move forward in my career as well as clarity, and a positive outlook, along with a solid set of tools."

Sarina wanted to clarify her new career goals, stay motivated and stay positive, and find a way to ignore her negative self-talk and stay on track

    Professional Background

I was fortunate to run a design agency for nearly 30 years, in one of the most stressful industries: exhibitions and events. The role meant I worked long hours, I was away travelling all the time and I was hardly ever present when at home with the family.

What was driving me? Two things… I was the breadwinner so believed I had to… and I was of the generation where I was told I could have everything… so I was on a mission to prove I could.

It was hard work and the stress eventually did take its toll, however I absolutely loved the job. The creative demands, the people and the travel.

As a leader within the business I wore so many hats. I had to learn to adapt and be agile and coach members of my team as they worked in this incredibly stressful environment.

I did have a change of heart and and decided in 2017 that I wanted to become a life coach, so I had a plan for what I wanted my next chapter to look like. However it was brought forward as sadly we lost our business during the pandemic.

It was an incredibly difficult time for us all as we tried our hardest to salvage what we had after nearly 30 years but it just wasn’t meant to be.

So now with all the years of experience of listening to clients and creating solutions for them in the corporate world, I now love to listen and work with my personal clients to guide and help them create their own story. To navigate their challenges and carve out the true person they want to be and map the life they want.

    What drew you to coaching?

I turned to coaching after I got my wake up call in 2016 when I was diagnosed with breast cancer, just before my 50th birthday. At that time, I was already struggling to cope with my father’s terminal illness, a difficult divorce, building a new life and house with my blended family, the dramas of teenagers and running a business. If anything was going to go wrong, it seemed to be happening to me, and life just seemed to be out of control.

I knew then it all had to stop. Everything next had to be about getting better both physically and emotionally, being there for my kids and taking back control of life.

I was changed and I knew my life would never be the same again. I knew I wanted the freedom to be more. I was no longer going to settle for busy but find the connection, meaning and depth that I had always be longing for.

Now my mission is to help as many women as possible to find the courage to know, trust, love and accept themselves and to stop pleasing others. To live by their own intentions and realise their dreams by ‘Becoming HER’, a woman liberated emotionally, physically and spiritually. To live a life where all the roles she plays as a woman are balanced and she has the clarity, energy and time to become whole.
