"When I met Hazel, I was broken. I had lost all of my self confidence, self belief and self worth. I instantly warmed to Hazel, who has such a soothing and calming presence and she was able to put me at ease straight away. Hazel helped me to explore my core values and what was important to me. She showed me how to trust myself again and how to be compassionate to myself. I feel excited about my future and have an incredible sense of calm and trust in myself. If you are finding things tough in your life and want to improve your self confidence and belief then I would highly recommend Hazel; she is a complete gift!!!"
Georgina, changing career within NHS
"Having Hazel as a coach was a fantastic experience. I gained some really practical tools which I find myself now using daily that have helped me to be more present with my team and my children. Hazel also helped me to re-frame my oftentimes self-critical perspectives which has led me to start focusing on what leadership style and career choices are aligned with my personal strengths and values."
Catherine, resilience coaching client, education sector
"Coaching is one of the most rewarding things I have ever done. Hazel is a complete professional; she offers advice and compassion throughout the sessions that truly made me feel at ease and were specific to me and how I was feeling. I am a totally different person after speaking with Hazel and feel empowered to think differently for my own benefit. I've been able to realise my full potential, so much so I've just got a promotion!"

Before I started my own business I worked for 15 years in leadership and organisational development.
The last in-house role I held was as Head of Workforce Development at Hampshire County Council, Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Service. I led a large team across three organisations and supported the team to come together into one unified service.
It has been important throughout my career that I am part of a team that is making a positive difference to others.
Early in my career, I worked in clinical research, as a youth worker and as a training commissioner supporting the development of dementia services.
What drew you to coaching?
As a psychologist, I have always been fascinated by human behaviour and the fact that although we have an incredible capacity for change, we seem to get stuck in patterns of thought and behaviour that often seem to work against us, rather than with us.
I experienced this personally and painfully when I was diagnosed with postnatal depression after the birth of my daughter. I did everything in my power to move through this challenging time and it was in this period that I discovered Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
ACT changed my life, and as I started to integrate it into my coaching and emotional resilience training, I discovered how transformational it could be in supporting my clients to build a self-compassionate version of being resilient.
In March 2020, I was asked by an NHS Trust to deliver resilience coaching to their teams through the pandemic. My team and I were honoured to be able to play a positive role in supporting a group of amazing people through a challenging time.
I feel as if this sums up why I was drawn to coaching – I want to help prevent women getting to their lowest point by working alongside them to develop the skills to know themselves better, to navigate the challenges they face with confidence and to create the life they really want to live.
