During her membership of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and prior to founding WIM CiC, she joined the London board. She became Chair of CIMCOM, the CIM marketing communications forum, working with industry bodies from advertising, public relations and design for six years.

In 2013, she was honoured on the Power List of Black Women in Europe™ and the World of Difference 100 award by The International Alliance for Women (TIAW) in Washington DC for her contribution and dedication to women in marketing.

Throughout her multifaceted career, Ade has worn many hats – including working in advisory roles in regeneration, community politics and fashion, she has spent the majority of her career working in the luxury retail sector and studied marketing at The University of Arts.

In 2020, Ade’s contribution to the industry was recognised in the esteemed global Provoke Media #Innovator25 EMEA list.

Ade is passionate about challenging gender norms and is an advocate of the global economic empowerment of women.
